Formerly known as Wagon Wheel Custom Meats and later as BB’s Market – Butchers | Bakers, Chop Shop – Market & Table marks the third rebranding of this beloved establishment. With each evolution, we have continued to refine and expand our offerings to better serve the community.
Chop Shop – Market & Table has a rich history, starting with the establishment of Wagon Wheel Custom Meats in 2015 by local entrepreneurs Jack Craig and Jim Wells. It quickly became a go-to destination for Southern Indiana residents seeking the best custom meats. Originally originating in a small Northern California town in the early 1980s, the Wagon Wheel brand expanded to Bloomington, Indiana, meeting the need for an old-fashioned butcher shop. After operating under the Wagon Wheel Custom Meats name, it was later rebranded as BB’s Market before finally becoming Chop Shop – Market & Table.
Located at 1915 S. Walnut St., Chop Shop – Market & Table continues the tradition of providing high-quality meat products while introducing an even wider range of fresh market offerings. Our focus is to source local fresh produce, offer in-house-made bakery and deli products, and provide only the highest quality meats.
